Coco Peat with an electrical conductivity (EC) above 0.8 mS/cm is called High EC Coco Peat. It is unwashed. It is used as a cost-effective growing medium for salt-tolerant plants. It can be used for animal bedding, for landscaping, and for large agricultural applications.

The price of unwashed High EC Coco Peat is about 30% cheaper than the washed Low EC Coco Peat.
